Emily Jenkins is the Director, Creative Development at Guru Studio. She is passionate about developing innovative and inclusive storytelling that inspires kids and families around the world. She has worked across several of Guru’s original properties, including its newest preschool series Pikwik Pack which airs on Disney Junior US, Hulu and Treehouse in Canada, and the upcoming comedy adventure Big Blue with the CBC. In addition to her pivotal role in development, Emily wrote and directed short form content for Guru Studio’s flagship Netflix series True and the Rainbow Kingdom and Disney Jr’s Pikwik Pack. Emily holds a BA in Media from Ryerson University, a Certificate in Entertainment Law from York University, and is an active member of Women in Film and Television Toronto.
