Sparky Animation

In the newly created position of SVP of Global Sales and Co-Productions for Singapore’s Sparky Animation, Kerry Novick is creating new partnerships and identifying co-production opportunities which meet Sparky’s content and investment criteria, with a keen eye for compelling stories and trending content genres, and a focus on co-production treaty countries Canada and Australia, or productions resulting in the creation of EU Content. In addition, Novick is spearheading global distribution of Sparky’s completed series to both broadcasters and premiere children’s streaming platforms, while marketing and securing animation service work. Novick has been in children’s program distribution and development for over twenty years, most recently at Kidtagious Entertainment where responsibilities included identifying and acquiring rights to co-produce or re-adapt hit Asian kids programming for the global market. Within Novick’s years of global distribution she specialized in distributing to APAC territories for top producers such as Nelvana, Sesame Workshop, The Jim Henson Company, Guru Studio, Fremantle Media Kids, M4E and more. Novick was a Mombusho Scholar at Hokkaido University in Sapporo and speaks fluent Japanese.
