Monica Dennis (Director Preschool Content, Mattel TV) is an award-winning creative leader, passionate about animation and stories that inspire kids.

At Mattel TV, Monica oversees content for iconic preschool brands such as Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go and Barney while building a slate of original series.

Previously, Monica lead development and current series at Amazon Studios including Tumble Leaf, Lost in Oz, Pete the Cat, Clifford, Wishenpoof!, Bug Diaries, and The Stinky & Dirty Show. Her series earned multiple Emmy awards including repeat “Outstanding Preschool Children’s Animated Program” and “Outstanding Children’s Animated Program” as well as BAFTA, Annie, Annecy and Parent’s Choice Gold awards.

Monica’s path to kids content included plenty of exploration with work at eOne, in feature films, prosthetic make up effects, and freelance illustration.
