Jordan Geary is an Emmy Award-winning creative producer and executive in children’s media, currently serving as Senior Director of Current Series Production at Sesame Workshop. Geary has an extensive background in children’s television, having contributed in various creative roles in animation, live-action, post-production, motion graphics, and series development. He has worked on notable children’s series such as Ghostwriter and Helpsters for Apple TV+, the upcoming series Sesame Street Mecha Builders and Bea’s Block for HBO Max, Sesame Studios for YouTube Kids, The Wonder Pets and Kappa Mikey for Nickelodeon, 3rd & Bird for Disney Junior and CBBC, and many, many more. He has also worked on feature films for older audiences, including Michael Moore’s Where Do We Invade Next, Fat Sick and Nearly Dead, and Drunk Stoned Brilliant Dead: The Story of the National Lampoon. A strong proponent for furthering the children’s media industry worldwide, Geary served as President of the Children’s Media Association, the leading nonprofit organization for professionals committed to making entertaining media for children and young adults. Geary lives in Montclair, NJ, with his wife, two daughters and a dog that loves to interrupt his Zoom calls with barking at least four times a day.
